Khud se hi ulajh padta hun....

My first ever attempt at hindi poems....Hope you like it...do comment....any type of comments are welcome....


In tanha vaadiyon ke sanaate me ajeeb ek karkash hai,
khud se hi ulajh padta hun, jaane kaisa sangharsh hai....

Yeh vaadiyaan sunepan ka ek geet sunaati hain,
me bhi saath me gata hun,
soonapan hi toh mera humdum hai,
jaisa bhi hun, jahaan bhi hun,
yeh mujhe apni baahon me samet leta hai,
me ise nafrat karke bhi chahta hun,
jaane kaisa sangharsh hai....

Door kisi pahaadi par koyal apna geet gaati hai,
apne sunepan ki ek dastaan sunaati hai,
apne bache koye ke ghosle me deti hai,
aur uspar man hi man jeevan bhar roti hai,
in tanha vadiyon ke sanaate me ajeeb ek karkash hai,
khud se hi ulajh padta hun, jaane kaisa sangharsh hai....

Roz kisi kashmakash me kaagaz par kalam gadta hun,
kya likhna chahta hun aur naa jaane kya likhta hun,
apne vichaaron me hi khud se ulajh padta hun,
aur phir kaagaz par and-shand chitr gadta hun,
jin ke arth chah ke bhi naa samajh paata hun,
sulajhne ki koshish me aur ulajh jaata hun....

Yun hi chalte-chalte khud se milta hun,
apne antarman ko hi chot karta hun,
apne hi vyaktitva ko na samajh paata hun,
apne hi pratibimb se dar jaata hun,
sulajhne ki koshish me aur ulajh jaata hun....

इन तन्हा वादियों के सन्नाटे में, अजीब एक कर्कश है,
ख़ुद से ही उलझ पड़ता हूँ, जाने कैसा संघर्ष है ।

यह वादियाँ सूनेपन का एक गीत सुनाती हैं,
मै भी साथ मै गाता हूँ,
सूनापन ही तो मेरा हमदम है,
जैसा भी हूँ, जहाँ भी हूँ,
यह मुझे अपनी बाहों मै समेत लेता है,
मै इसे नफरत करके भी चाहता हूँ,
जाने कैसा संघर्ष है....

दूर किसी पहाड़ी पर कोयल अपना गीत गाती है,
अपने सूनेपन की एक दास्तान सुनाती है,
अपने बच्चे कोए के घोसले मै देती है,
और उसपर मन ही मन जीवन भर रोती है,
इन तन्हा वादियों के सन्नाटे मै अजीब एक कर्कश है,
ख़ुद से ही उलझ पड़ता हूँ, जाने कैसा संघर्ष है....

रोज़ किसी कशमकश में कागज़ पर कलम गड़ता हूँ,
क्या लिखना चाहता हूँ और ना जाने क्या लिखता हूँ,
अपने विचारों में ही ख़ुद से उलझ पड़ता हूँ,
और फिर कागज़ पर अंड-शंड चित्र गड़ता हूँ,
जिन के अर्थ चाह के भी ना समझ पाता हूँ,
सुलझने की कोशिश में और उलझ जाता हूँ....

यूँ ही चलते-चलते ख़ुद से मिलता हूँ,
अपने अंतरमन को ही चोट करता हूँ,
अपने ही व्यक्तित्व को न समझ पाता हूँ,
अपने ही प्रतिबिम्ब से डर जाता हूँ,
सुलझने की कोशिश में और उलझ जाता हूँ....

One of those times,
when u wanna run away,
held back by the chains of commitment,
when u wanna break away,
guarded by social refrain,
then comes that feeling,
of something creeping beside,
n something crawling inside,
that devil lays it's trap,
to swallow u,
u don't know where it is,
u don't know from where it will strike,
then u discover it's inside,
n it will kill u from inside,
ur thoughts become hollow,
all spontaneity is lost,
when thorns grow in ur arteries,
n stones develop in ur throat,
n it's then when u start to choke,
there comes that devil in it's hooded cloak,
to reveal ur true face,
n there's that glint in it's eyes,
for the triumph of ur collapse,
for the triumph of ur capture,
n then when u look in mirror,
u know u r lost,
for u see that hooded face instead of ur own,
n that's when u know,
u r lost.....
